The Kudos Story, Kudos Blends

The Kudos Blends story began in 1999, when Dinnie Jordan saw a niche in the market. Dinnie’s vision for the company was to develop technically driven baking powders. Modern baking powder was invented in 1843 but the formulation had changed very little since then. Dinnie’s experience in the bakery phosphates industry meant she could see that technically advanced baking powders with uniquely functional properties could be valuable to both specialist and industrial bakeries.

By 2006, Kudos Blends was expanding rapidly and a further move necessitated purpose-built offices, complete with a test laboratory and bakery. At the same time, the company also brought manufacturing in-house to give greater control on the process and to bring R+D and manufacturing even closer together.

Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength and we’re still as passionate as ever about developing baking powder technology. We remain focused on a single company vision, to be the world leading supplier of functional raising agents.

True to that vision, we now supply and manufacture a wide range of raising agents for some of the world’s largest bakeries.  With a team of enthusiastic, passionate staff and in-house chemists, we have really put ourselves at the forefront of baking technology.
